This is probably the most copied photo from the stage show. It was taken in 1977 at
Uncle Sam's (now
First Avenue) in downtown Minneapolis. The band on stage was Visage.
Black Magic
Unfortunately there are no known photos of
Black Magic, the first band that FLS worked with while still in high school.
Joe Band
Here are the only known photos of
Joe Band, the second group that FLS did lights for. The setting was the recording session for Joe Band Takes Off, done in bass player
Bob Churchill’s basement, sometime in the summer of 1970 (Click on a photo to enlarge).

Symphonic Reaction
Symphonic Reaction was the third band
that FLS performed with. The first group of photos was the original photo shoot that was done to make a poster for the first gig. The second group of
photos was taken at a practice session. This would have been in July of 1972 (Click on a photo to enlarge).

Magic Bus
In January of 1974, FLS did one memorable
show with a band called Magic Bus. I was friends with the drummer, Joe Schneider and unfortunately I don't remember too much more about it.
